The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) has reiterated its commitment to deepening economic, industrial, and investment partnerships between Nigeria and the Republic of Türkiye. This reaffirmation came during the MUSIAD Nigeria Yearly Meeting, held in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye, a gathering that underscored the growing economic and diplomatic synergy between both nations.
Speaking at the event, the President of ACCI commended MUSIAD Nigeria for its sustained efforts in fostering bilateral relations that advance shared values of innovation, enterprise, and mutual growth. He emphasized that the Chamber remains dedicated to promoting initiatives that strengthen trade, encourage industrial collaboration, and enhance investment opportunities between Nigerian and Turkish enterprises.
A highlight of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between MUSIAD Nigeria and Sahad Hospital, marking a significant milestone in the healthcare sector. The agreement is expected to drive collaboration in medical technology, healthcare infrastructure, and capacity development, reinforcing the vital role of private-sector partnerships in driving social and economic progress.
The ACCI President described the MoU as a “remarkable step toward deepening collaboration in the healthcare sector,” commending MUSIAD Nigeria for its proactive leadership and innovative approach to fostering international cooperation.
He further lauded the organization for its forward-thinking initiatives and its role in promoting cross-border investments that create opportunities for business development and industrial expansion. “Congratulations to the leadership of MUSIAD Nigeria for yet another impactful engagement that continues to build bridges of opportunity between our nations,” he stated.
The event attracted key stakeholders from the business, diplomatic, and industrial sectors, all of whom echoed a shared commitment to enhancing Nigeria–Türkiye relations through sustainable partnerships and strategic cooperation.
The meeting concluded with a renewed sense of optimism for future collaborations aimed at driving economic diversification, trade growth, and industrial innovation across both countries.
