As the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Lagos Branch, convenes its 2025 Annual Law Conference, Professor Foluke Dada-Lawanson has extended her goodwill to members of the legal community with a compelling message of unity, innovation, and purpose.
In her message, Prof. Dada-Lawanson—Chair of the Lawyers in Academia Forum and former 2nd Vice President of the NBA (2018–2020)—expressed immense pride in being part of the Lagos Branch, celebrating its tradition of excellence and forward-thinking leadership within the Nigerian legal profession.
“The theme, ‘Reimagining the Practice of Law: Ethics, Innovation and the Future of Legal Services,’ underscores our legacy of excellence and our readiness to lead the future,” she stated, emphasizing the importance of ethical and innovative practices in reshaping the legal landscape.

She described the conference as more than a mere gathering, calling it “a symbol of the bold steps we are taking together to shape a profession rooted in purpose, service, and impact.” She highlighted that the event reflects the strength, unity, and enduring belief in justice that defines the legal profession in Lagos and beyond.
Urging lawyers to remain committed to progress, Prof. Dada-Lawanson encouraged participants to continue walking the “path of possibility – undaunted, ethical, innovative, and united.”
Concluding her message, she praised the leadership and vision of NBA Lagos, stating: “NBA Lagos, we lead with purpose. Let’s keep moving forward.”
