The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) is set to convene a high-level discussion on “Local Government: The Third Tier, But How Independent?” This timely event will bring together legal experts, policymakers, and key stakeholders to dissect the challenges, progress, and future of local government autonomy in Nigeria, particularly in light of the recent Supreme Court judgment.
