NBA-YLF Governing Council Rolls Out Roadmap, Seeks Collaboration with Young Lawyers’ Chairmen

On the 3rd of February 2025, during the two-day Sensitisation Program on the Rules of Professional Conduct for Legal Practitioners, organised by the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Program (ROLAC) in collaboration with the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).

The Governing Council of the NBA Young Lawyers Forum (YLF) convened an interactive meeting with the chairmen of the Young Lawyers Forum from across the federation. The meeting was held at the Nigerian Bar Association House, Abuja.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss strategies for strengthening the impact and development of the Young Lawyers Forum, foster better collaboration between the Governing Council and the YLF Chairmen, and gather feedback on the peculiar challenges faced by young lawyers nationwide.

Additionally, the meeting provided an opportunity for the Governing Council to roll out its roadmap once again and highlight the activities and programs it has implemented since assuming office.

On behalf of the Governing Council, Timothy Clement, the National Chairman of the NBA-YLF, expressed gratitude to the Chairmen for their unwavering support, commitment to the development of the Forum, and the confidence reposed in the Governing Council.
